Bluewave Education is a well-established South Yorkshire business who have been working with schools locally, nationally and internationally for over a decade. We are recognised in our sector as innovators who develop first class technological solutions which enable a modern day approach to managing school improvement.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and ambitious Sales Executive to become part of our growing sales team in the field of education software and solutions. The successful candidate will begin in a lead generation capacity, with excellent opportunities for development into a full sales role. You will be responsible for generating new business opportunities following up on national marketing campaigns and through access to an extensive prospect profiling database.

We are looking for a target focussed, self-motivated individual who is looking to develop into the role, demonstrating resilience and a desire to succeed. You will be well presented, articulate and professional, and capable of prioritising your time and problem solving.

The principal function of this position is to generate sales leads through contacting schools and qualifying their interest in our product. The ultimate aim is to book a demonstration, so attention to detail, telephone confidence, strong communication and objection handling skills are essential.

Main duties will include:

  • Outbound targeted telemarketing with weekly KPI’s

  • Qualification of leads

  • Booking product demonstrations

  • Diary Management

  • CRM Management

  • Business Administration including responding to emails, forwarding hard copy documents, filing, database management and data cleansing


Desired Experience includes:

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Computer literate

  • Track record in sales driven environment

  • Objection handling skills

  • Ability to adapt to change

  • Experience in the education sector

  • Telesales/Lead generation experience

  • CRM Management
